Plenty of RV owners search for a crew that will climb on the roof in a driveway and “seal it today.” Sky Sealed will not take that job—and that is intentional. We are shop-only in Las Vegas with no mobile crew. This post explains why that rule exists, what you gain from drop-off service, and how pricing and warranty still stay clear when you bring the coach to us.

Shop-only is a quality decision, not a inconvenience tax

Wind, dust, uneven pads, and half-shaded parking lots fight a clean silicone job. Mobile visits look convenient until the finish shows every shortcut the site forced. Sky Sealed keeps the work in a shop environment so cleaning, detailing around fans and vents, and application happen under conditions we can actually control.

What shop-only means in practice:

• You schedule a drop-off at our Las Vegas shop
• We work the roof without improvising around driveway obstacles
• We do not book a mobile silicone crew for curb-side sealing

If you need someone at your house tomorrow no matter the wind, we are not the vendor—and we will say so up front.

What you trade (and what you get)

You trade doorstep convenience for process control. In return you get a clearer intake, a length-based price conversation, and a warranty story tied to shop-applied work rather than “we tried our best in a dust devil.”

Shop clients typically care about:

1. Predictable prep (not “we’ll see when we get there”)
2. Honest scope if the roof needs repair talk before coating
3. A pickup window instead of an open-ended driveway occupation
4. Written warranty language that matches what was applied in the shop

Those outcomes are harder to promise when every job site is a different weather and access problem.

Pricing still stays transparent

Shop-only does not mean opaque. Sky Sealed pricing remains:

• $699 for roofs up to 25 feet
• +$50 per linear foot over 25 feet

Example: a 27-ft roof is $799 ($699 + 2 × $50). Measure length the same way you will confirm at intake. Call with make, model, and approximate length if you want expectations set before you drive in.

Warranty clarity depends on a controlled job

Sky Sealed offers a 20-year warranty on shop-applied silicone work as described in the agreement. Warranties are documents, not slogans. Ask what is covered, what maintenance you owe, and what voids coverage when you book. A shop process makes it easier to stand behind prep and application standards than a mobile visit that had to fight the site.

Who shop-only is for

Shop-only fits owners who can:

• Drive or tow the RV to Las Vegas for scheduled intake
• Plan a short out-of-service window while the roof is worked

• Want no mobile crew ambiguity in the quote

If your coach cannot move and you only want driveway service, say so early—we will not pretend we travel for silicone sealing.

How to schedule Las Vegas shop intake

Have ready:

• Approximate roof length (for the $699 / +$50/ft math)
• Notes on soft spots, prior coatings, or open leaks
• Preferred drop-off window
• Your best callback number

We will confirm whether silicone overcoat is appropriate or whether a different repair path should be discussed first. Honesty on scope beats a rushed coat over a failing membrane.
